Circular 0030/2020

Like many aspects of our lives, the ‘Different Families, Same Love’ competition for 2020 had to be reconfigured to suit the societal situation.   Instead of a class based competition as it had been in the past, this year, the entries came directly from children’s homes!  We received lots of amazing entries in the three categories: Junior Individual, Senior Individual and Family.    The standard was incredibly high and the judges had a hard time choosing winners.  In the end though, the following projects were deemed as prize winners.  A huge thank you to Smyths’ Toys who generously sponsored the prizes, including an incredible €100 voucher for the 1st place winners!  Despite the challenges, the competition was a success and again showed that the future of Irish society is caring, compassionate and inclusive.
