Youth Conference 2014
INTO held its second ever Youth Conference on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 March in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
Sessions at the conference included a focus on challenging situations for teachers, an overview of the INTO involvement with young teachers' issues, a focus on professional life in teaching and on terms of employment for young teachers. There was, in addition, a conference dinner on Friday evening and an important social element.
This was a vibrant and interesting conference; our planning group, contributors and facilitators put in great preparation to ensure it was a great success.
