This webinar will provide participants with an insight into mental health supports for children and young people in Ireland.
This session will begin with an introduction to the framework for mental health service delivery in Ireland and a focus on prevention, early intervention and person-centred supports.
Attendees will then be provided with an outline of the HSE’s approach to mental health promotion and the principles underpinning ‘Stronger Together’.
The expert panel comprising medical professionals, HSE Mental Health Policy Lead, HSE Senior Project Manager for Mental Health and staff from Jigsaw will share some of the resources that are available including, ‘Zippy’s friends’ as well as a short, guided tour of the yourmentalhealth.ie website and details on how to access relevant content.
The webinar will conclude with a contribution from an experienced GP providing her perspective on prevention, early intervention and accessing mental health supports and services.
