The INTO Youth Conference will take place on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March 2020 in the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny. The conference will commence at approximately 3pm with registration open from 2pm.
INTO has held four youth conferences in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland since 2008. INTO members under the age of 35 years are nominated by their branches and districts to attend the conferences.
The youth conferences generally take place over two days and include plenary sessions where delegates hear from INTO leaders and are addressed by leading figures from the education sector. Delegates also participate in two workshops focusing on the current and future challenges for teachers, and in a social event.
The conferences are an important opportunity for young members to express their views on a range of concerns including secure employment, pay and promotion, mobility and professional challenges.
Nomination of Delegates
Branch and District Committees are invited to nominate delegates to the Conference in accordance with the following figures:

This conference is open to delegates aged 35 years of age and under. Officers must login to the INTO website and go to your profile to begin the process of delegate submission.

Accommodation
Delegates to the Youth Conference are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
