New Model for Allocating Special Education Teachers to Primary Schools
Half day seminars for Primary Schools organised by the Department of Education and Skills.
The DES has organised a series of meetings for schools on the new model for allocating special education teachers to schools.
The following are the dates and venues:

Participants will receive an email confirmation of application. Places are limited and when the venue has reached full capacity online application form will not operate.
Due to space constraints only one nominee from every school may attend. Each nominee should be in a position of leadership in the school and have responsibility for Special Education provision. Participants will require permission from the Board of Management to attend. Typically, substitution will only be allowed to teaching principals or to teachers with primary responsibility for students with a special educational need and if it is deemed absolutely essential by the Principal.
Registration and tea/coffee: 10am. Seminar begins: 10.30am. Seminar concludes: 12.30pm
