Online Registration Portal
Primary schools that wish to participate in the 2024 Summer Programme must register on the Department’s Primary Online Registration Portal. The portal was made available at the beginning of April and details have been sent to schools.
Following registration sanction emails will issue to schools for each scheme that they have registered for outlining the resources that have been sanctioned.
The deadline for registration has been extended to Friday 17 May.
Information for Primary Schools
This year all primary schools can offer a summer programme for pupils with complex special educational needs and those at risk of educational disadvantage.
There are two scheme available in the 2024 Summer Programme for mainstream primary schools.
- The Primary School scheme – for pupils enrolled in special classes, as well as pupils in mainstream classes who have special educational needs and those who are at risk of educational disadvantage.
- Literacy and numeracy summer camps/campaí samhraidh for pupils in DEIS schools.
